Introduct Academy Develops a Unified Payment Gateway: Strengthening Fintech Expertise

At Introduct Group, we believe that strong technology partners are built not only through projects, but through people. That’s why we are proud to share a milestone from within our ecosystem.
Recently, Introduct Academy has successfully developed a Unified Payment Gateway — a sandbox-based, multi-provider fintech platform created entirely by Academy graduates.
Over a three-month period starting in late 2025, a team of 11 full-stack developers built a fully functional web-based payment gateway. What’s important to notice, the project was led by one of our first graduates of the Introduct Academy. This ensured that the project received first-class tech supervision. The idea was to create an environment that simulates a real production environment.
The gateway integrates eight payment systems into one unified infrastructure. It supports transaction routing, secure authentication, and payment flow simulation. Moreover, every process happens in a risk-free environment. The system is completely safe and simulates the real business system.
It’s important to note: The platform runs entirely in test mode. No real funds are processed. However, the system is completely safe and simulates the real business system.
What the Team Built
The Academy developers delivered:
- A Unified Payment Gateway with 8 integrated providers
- Secure authentication plug for Phoenix with JWT (HS256) verification
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Microservice architecture
- Demo site for registration and payment testing
- Admin panel with built-in content editor
- Mail-sending functionality
- Real-time transaction monitoring logic
The project was built using Phoenix, LiveView, PostgreSQL, Oban, and API integrations. These technologies are widely used in scalable backend and fintech development.

Why This Matters
We, at Introduct, value practical engineering excellence. With the Unified Payment Gateway, engineers have a great chance to practice their fintech skills before working on real projects. It also marks a big step in Introduct Academy enhancement. We’re proud to help developers work with complex infrastructures before they enter production teams.
Instead of isolated coding tasks, trainees build secure, scalable platforms that reflect real business challenges.
