Scaling tech localization: Introduct signs official MoU with Oman’s MTCIT

The second MoU was signed in one week! We’re very proud to share one more piece of cool news from the Introduct Academy Oman. One more MoU with the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technologies (MTCIT) of Oman. This milestone officially embeds Introduct’s technical training framework within Oman’s national digital strategy.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown of this event. Also, don’t forget to check out our previous news about MoUs with Muscat College and Middle East College, and also the most recent MoU with GUtech.

Operating under the Makeen national framework

One of the most important things in this partnership is the integration of Makeen. Makeen is the MTCIT’s flagship national initiative for digital competencies. Thanks to aligning with Makeen, Introduct has a possibility to scale our training capacity and expand program access to a broader demographic of Omani youth.

The program offers a highly technical path for Makeen students and graduates. It helps to open the door for even more Omani ICT talent to join, work on hands-on projects, gain mentorship, and build real professional skills before entering the job market.

The Introduct perspective

Building a local tech ecosystem is more about the real progress when public national initiatives and private tech experience work together. Current partnering means Omani engineers have a chance to learn skills they need for a successul entering the job market. They learn how to work on real projects, with the real workflow and real teams. We appreciate every partnership we have and hope to have even more!
